Matt Goh, Consultant
NAC Consultancy
Matt Goh started on 30th Jan as NAC Consultancy Consultant. However, Matt was no stranger to a founding member of NAC Consultancy. In the past, after graduating from University, he was hired by a co-founder of NAC Consultancy, Johnny Wong, then Engineering Manager for Wilmax Control Systems.
Matt is 30 years old, has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and a diploma in Aeronautical Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic… He started his career with Wilmax Control Systems Pte Ltd as a mechanical engineer and his roles revolve around many aspects of a project cycle, including project management, design engineering, drafting, and vendor & client management. After having worked at Wilmax for 3 years, he decided to move to Garlock where he was offered a role as product application engineer.
“I decided to move to Garlock because of the opportunity to visit with numerous industry sites throughout Southeast Asia,” tells Matt.
He had an enriching experience of providing technical product training for many industries such as power generation, steel mills, and pharmaceutical.
When Johnny approached him about a year after the setting up of NAC Consultancy, he did not have to think long to make the decision. With the eventful and challenging time working with Johnny back in Wilmax and knew that he will be able to grow by leaps and bounds professionally by joining NAC. Matt accepted the role as Consultant and is currently responsible for the successful execution and completion of numerous engineering projects assigned to him.
Being in a young and exciting company like NAC, we have the agility to pick up numerous kind of engineering projects and there has never been a stale day working here. While the team here is young, both founders of NAC Consultancy have numerous years of industrial and business experience and Matt hopes to learn from them. Eventually, as he builds up his technical and business know-how, he hopes to lead his own team to grow and evolve NAC Consultancy business to meet the future demands of the engineering industry.
